What is Work Improvement Teams (WIT)?

  • Small groups of frontline employees from the same workplace;
  • Meeting regularly, on continuous basis, to tackle problems and/or create values relating to their job scope or workplace;
  • Common results are removing hindrances to performance, obstacles to work flow, defects, complaints, waste, disruptions, etc.; can be small, medium or large in scale.
  • Ultimately improve the quality and productivity of an organization.
